Prerequisites: A graduate class in Artificial Intelligence or permission of the instructor.

Textbook:  None required

Resource materials: Journal and conference papers in selected research topic areas.

 

This course will be given in a seminar-style format requiring substantial student participation. As such, the specific topics covered will in part be student-selected and related to ongoing research activities. Although not restricted to, of particular interest to the instructor are research topics related to Natural Computation and Meta-heuristics.

 

Students will be expected to read and present material on various research topics. A class project will be required.
